A successful ecosystem relies on all five pillars working together, and this does not happen without the support of educators, professionals, schools and industry contributing their time, money and resources expertise. The larger our community of shareholders not only will increase our impact, but will reduce the amount of effort required of any one individual or organization.

Newark STEM focuses on workforce readiness and envisions a support system that prepares all students to participate in the 21st Century STEM/STEAM workforce. We are organized in alignment with the STEM Learning Ecosystems. As part of this community of practice, Newark STEM aligns with their conception of why ecosystems are needed and what they do.
